A group of four thieves wearing presidential masks burst into the Brothers Pawn Shop in East Nashville and made off with cash and valuables. Witnesses say the robbers bolted on foot as police sirens approached, igniting a chase through city streets. One bystander recalled that when officers caught up, a bandit protested, “You made a mistake, you got the wrong guy, I’m only guilty of a damn good time,” while he was cuffed and placed into a patrol car.
Police report that three suspects are still at large and “having a little fun on the run.” Helicopters have been called in to sweep the area, and investigators are urging anyone who saw the robbery to come forward and testify when the suspects face justice.
